Bethel Methodist Cemetery originally

began as the Lewes Methodist Episcopal

Cemetery and has served the Lewes community for over 150 years.

Originally overseen by the 

Bethel Methodist Episcopal Church, the cemetery is now overseen and operated by a board of local citizens, comprised of members of Bethel United Methodist Church, Groome United Methodist Church and members at large from the community.

All board members serve voluntarily and meet at every quarter to oversee the operation of the cemetery and its continued development.
